Integrative Intuitive Therapy
Integrative Intuitive Therapy is an approach that combines massage, hands -on healing, trigger point, sacred sound, energy work, deep tissue and other modalities in helping you synthesize the intra-personal, spiritual and deep emotional healing that you have already been exploring.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor (2733), and a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist (692), I work from an integrated somatic perspective. This means I draw from many modalities in working with you.I weave cognitive behavioral practices with body awareness practices drawn from Eastern and Western traditions into an integrated somatic therapy approach.
Hands on Healing with Sacred Sound (Live Music)
For work with sacred sound, live music with hands on healing, I work with two practitioners of sacred sound: Amy Hall Durso and John Westmoreland. Read more about Hands on Healing with live sacred music sessions.
I graduated from the highly regarded Body Therapy Institute located in Chatham County, North Carolina in the late 1990s. After receiving my master's in counseling, I moved to North Carolina from New York state in order to supplement the traditional psychological way of healing with non-traditional modalities. I have a specialty in somatic therapy, bodywork that integrates the body, mind and spirit.
The work I do is skilled and compassionate: I help individuals to relax and slow down, and address specific areas of acute or chronic discomfort through the use of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Tuina, Cupping, Qigong, Energy Work and Joint Mobilization.
I studied and received my master’s degree in counseling in upstate New York and am licensed to practice in North Carolina. My psychotherapy practice is a rich blend of cognitive behavioral and somatic therapies, drawing from traditional psychology and Eastern and body-oriented modalities with offerings in:
